Privacy Policy

Darnizzle LLC ("Darnizzle", "we", "us", "our") operates darnizzle.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Site or our services.

1. Information We Collect

• Contact details you provide: name, email address, and (optionally) a phone number, used to contact you about your order, inquiry, or a waitlist you joined.
• Waitlist and marketing signups: if you join a product waitlist or opt in to marketing email, we collect the email address you provide, which list you joined, and your consent choice. We use this to notify you about that product and, only if you opted in and confirmed, to send marketing email (see Section 5).
• Order details: artist name, song title, file links, instructions, reference links, add-ons.
• Payment details: processed securely by Stripe and Shopify. We never see or store your full card number.
• Account data: if you create an account, your display name, avatar, and authentication identifiers.
• Rewards data: if you join Darnizzle Rewards, your points balances (Embers and Legacy), tier, and redemption history, linked to your account email.
• Usage data: anonymized analytics (page views, referrer, device type) collected via Umami. No cross-site tracking.
• Approximate location: on page load your browser fetches a small Cloudflare endpoint on our own domain that returns a two-letter country code derived from your IP address. We use this only to determine regional availability (for example to hide digital products from customers in the EU, EEA or UK, where we do not sell them). The country code is held in memory for your session and is not written to a persistent profile or shared with third parties.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Fulfill orders for music services, merchandise, and digital products.
• Send transactional email confirmations, payment receipts, and delivery updates.
• Reply to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
• Improve site performance and content.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Service Providers

We share data with the following processors only as needed to operate the Site:

• Stripe: payment processing for services.
• Shopify: merchandise checkout and fulfillment.
• Resend: transactional email delivery, plus delivery of our marketing email and product waitlists (see Section 5).
• ImprovMX: inbound email forwarding (routes messages sent to our domain to our inbox).
• Lovable Cloud: backend, database, and authentication.
• Umami: privacy-friendly site analytics.
• YouTube: embedded video playback on product pages (loaded only after cookie consent).

These providers process personal information only on our behalf and under our instructions to operate the Site and our communications, except as described immediately below. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Shopify advertising features. Our checkout is powered by Shopify, and Shopify uses information about your activity across different merchants and websites to support personalized advertising. For that purpose Shopify acts for its own purposes as well as ours. Depending on where you live, this may count as "sharing" or "selling" your personal information for targeted advertising under your local privacy law, and you have the right to opt out. 4. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies required for authentication and shopping cart functionality. Site analytics are collected anonymously through Umami, which is cookieless and does not use third-party advertising cookies.

Embedded YouTube videos on product pages may set third-party cookies from Google. These videos are loaded only after you accept cookies via our consent banner. If you decline, the videos are replaced with a placeholder and no request is sent to YouTube. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which brings the consent banner back on your next visit.

5. Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain order and contact records as required for accounting, legal, and customer support purposes. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us through the contact form or by emailing darnizzlecollective@outlook.com. You can also delete your account and personal data yourself at any time from your account settings (Account → Delete Account). When you do, your order and payment totals are retained in anonymized form (without your personal details) as required for accounting, and your email is added to our do-not-contact list. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to restrict or object to our processing, to receive a copy of your data in a portable format, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We process your data to fulfill our contract with you (orders and accounts), to meet legal obligations, with your consent (embedded YouTube videos), and for our legitimate interests in running and improving the Site.

Marketing email. With your consent, or where you are an existing customer and as permitted by law, we may send you promotional emails about product drops, offers, and news. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal mailing address, and we honor opt-out requests promptly. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by emailing orders@darnizzle.com. Transactional emails (order confirmations, digital downloads, and account or security notices) are sent as needed to complete your requests and to keep your account secure; these are separate from marketing email and are not affected by unsubscribing from marketing.

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed on servers located in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, your data is transferred to and handled in the US as described in this policy.

6. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
