How Rising Sounds works
Events
Rising Sounds hosts live music events with Darnizzle. Dates are on the Rising Sounds page and on the events page.
Online community, 13 and up
When the Rising Sounds community on Skool opens (planned for December 2026), it's for ages 13 and up. Skool requires members to be 13 or older.
Under 13
There are no accounts for children under 13. You get event dates and updates by email, and your child can join the online community at 13.
Getting started, by age
Grades K-5
Keep it fun. Sing together, clap rhythms and try a simple music app side by side. Short sessions and lots of praise work best.
Grades 6-8
Pick one thing to focus on: beats, singing or an instrument. Twenty minutes a few times a week beats one long session.
Grades 9-12
Make songs and finish them. Share them with people who give honest feedback. That's what the Rising Sounds community is for.
